One of the most important factors to consider when choosing Acu-MDx is that we ensure credibility and precision of our reports while maintaining the timeliness of reporting. Kindly look up ISO 15189:2012 AND NABL Accreditation when seeking Acu-MDx.

4What Do Your Test Results Mean?

Acu-MDx Laboratory tests can help you evaluate your own health. Sometimes test results can be outside of normal ranges for many reasons. Discuss all lab results with our experts as well as your treating doctor.

5Why is Regular health check-up important?

As we all know that PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. Regular health check-up will help us to detect the disease in its early stage even before the onset of symptoms. This gives the patient a better chance for treatment and cure.

6Can I book a test for someone else?

Yes, you can book for yourself, or for any family member as well as for friends. There is no limitation on the number of people for whom you book tests.

7Can I change my booking?

Yes, You can change booking by intimating us 24 hours prior to your sample collection.

Technical FAQ's

1Do We Require Fasting for Performing A Lipid Profile Test?

Yes. At least 12 hrs fasting is required for this test. While fasting the person can have only plain water.

2How Much Time After Lunch Should Give His/Her Blood Sample?

Patient must give his/her blood sample (for post lunch sugar test) 2hrs after finishing the lunch. The lunch should consist of a routine meal which the patient has regularly.

3How Should One Collect A Urine Sample?

Urine sample should always be collected in the sterile clean container. Before collecting the sample, the patient has to clean the surrounding area (genitals). While passing the urine patient should discard the first part of the urine and collect the ensuing part. This sample is also called as Mid-stream urine sample. The container should be labeled properly and the cap tightly screwed to avoid leakage of the sample.

4Do I Have to Come Fasting For HbA1c Test?

Fasting is not required for HbA1c test. Patient can give sample at any time.

5What are the Acu-MDx Lab Working Hours?

Monday - Saturday: 7:00 a.m. -- 6:00 p.m. IST (Indian Standard Time)
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m. IST

6What are the Basic Shipping Requirements for Samples?

Refrigerated samples should be transported on ice packs. Protect samples from freezing by wrapping them in paper toweling

Billing FAQ's

1Can a patient directly pay for a Test?

Acu-MDx has a facility of both payment mode via Online and Cash.

2Does Acu-MDx do Third Party Billing?

The institution submitting the specimen for testing is responsible for payment. The fee structure and payments shall be executed as per the pre-defined MoU.
